I stumbled upon this application while looking at the marketplace on my Android phone. What a wonderful application this is! What is Aloqa? It basically uses your phones' GPS to determine and uses that to find out what's around you.
So if you're hungry and want to run off to a fast food restaurant, click on the appropriate buttons on Aloqa and Ta Da! Now you know where to go. Driving down the road and need a Starbucks? Click on a link and it will tell you where the nearest one is.
Movies, fast food, coffee houses, restaurants and many many more categories are available at your fingertips.
Aloqa makes you feel like a local in a new town. Quickly you can find out where everything is. And if you are tech savy, you can build your own module that can be used by everyone.
